Season-opener - March 19 @ Whitehall

​

Outlook - Despite a losing record a year ago, CCHS qualified for districts and made a run to the finals and also qualified for states ... The Vikes were hit hard by graduation with the loss of 13 seniors, including a number of key starters ....The team will be very young this season and pitching should be a strength. Offensively, the Vikes were challenged a year ago being shutout in 8 games.

Last year -10-6 EPC (third), 14-9 overall; EPC Tournament lost to Liberty 12-2; District XI Tournament defeated Lehighton 11-1, lost to Blue Mountain 11-1

Key losses to graduation - OF Eric Wert (Seton Hall), Beckem McNally (Catholic Univ., injured last season), Pete Hrousis, P Adam Boyer, Jamel Clements, P Ben Kaczor

​

Key returnees - Jr. P/1B  Phil Taylor, Jr. P/1B Caden Deegan, Jr. OF Collin Peacock, Sr. INF Brayden Rader (1st Team EPC), Jr. Zach McCoy, Jr. Bryce Blawn

Season-opener: March 19 vs Liberty, Home 4 pm

​

Outlook - Injuries on the pitching staff hurt the Golden Hawks a year ago losing their No.1 pitcher (McNally) even before the season started. Deegan also missed some time. Despite that, BC still won 14 games and qualified for both the EPC and District XI playoffs, reaching the finals before losing to Blue Mountain. Non-league schedule includes: Archbishop Carroll, North Pocono, St. Joe's Prep and Wyoming Valley West
